In many organisations, developers building PowerBI Models using PowerBI Desktop using Import Mode. This create multiple Datasets with organisation's data. Since the data is inside the files, it impossible to secure and can leak from the organisation easily.

By bring the data to a centralised enterprise model, we can minimise the security risks. Moreover, any change require to the model is done once and apply to all and also need to be refresh once.

This solution centralizes the data and makes it easy to secure by having it stored in a central location. Instead of having data stored in multiple PowerBI files, it is all brought together in one central location, making it much easier to protect.
